Zuccari's Ascension in the Cupola of the Santa Maria del Fiore, Firenze

Zuccari's fresco of Christ's Ascension on the Day of Judgement appears in the cupola of the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Firenze. The fresco, painted on dry plaster in the early 1570s, is considered by art historians to be one of Zuccari's greatest works.
